Procrastination

It rained today. Yes. I asked the Germans if they ever thought of getting an umbrella and they were disgusted at the thought. "We aren't made of sugar," says Andreas. The Germans rock in all there Germaness. Gotta love them. I learned some German and Swedish today. Unfortunately, I don't remember it. I'll have to be refreshed. The Germans (and actually everyone except Americans) cook every night. I'm totally jealous of their talent, I should steal a meal or two. Apparently noone else believes in fast food and the heart is worth saving.

The rain was a suprise. Well not really since it rained all night. But I'm sure Queensland was excited about it. Because "Queensland is experiencing the worst drought in over a 100 years," said by the commercial guy that appears ever so often. It is to help save water. Because they are in need of help. Fortunately I won't be here when the problems gets worse and I'm sure my long showers aren't helping. Which they wouldn't be that long if the showere didn't have a separate hot and cold knob. So you end up spending 20 minutes to get the water just right.

Next week is hell week. Well actually it is leaking into this week too. One presentation, one speech, one essay, and one midterm exam all next week. Yay! Fortunately the other essay that would accompany those requirements got pushed back. Thank the lord! If I had another essay on top of that I would possibly kill myself. Not really because I'm in Australia!

This weekend should be exciting because it is River Festival WOOOO!!! And this Saturday is River Fire aka fireworks in the river. We've decided to commerate this moment with a BBQ at River Plaza (Swedish apt.), however, controversy has arrived because they canceled the appt. as Anders has told me. He is going to research. I'm sure everything will work out.

I suppose that is enought chat and should do work. Even though I do want to hear some stories from Wallace. Yes you Wallace. They sound like stories I would appreciate. If anyone. Karin and I managed to talk the entire 3 hour break and not open the books we checked out to read. So I need to redeem myself. Even though you shouldn't work on an empty stomach. On that note, I leave, go eat, come back, and then be productive. Good plan.
